There is some debate over what constitutes an “old home”. If it is more than 20-30 years old, it should be considered an older home. It can be called vintage if it is at least 50. Although our lake cottage is not considered old, there are still improvements that can be made.

Plates, Light Switches, and Update Outlets

Select the right stain to give your hardwoods a new lease of life. It was so inexpensive to remodel the living room of our old home; I can still remember being amazed at its cost. This is another example of a property that makes great real estate returns. Hardwood floors are timeless and a great investment as they are what home buyers want.
